Maurice “Mo” McDonald is responsible for the Dayton Development Coalition Aerospace and Defense initiatives and programs. He is responsible for partnerships with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) and a regional presence with all area defense installations. In addition, he is helping shape the regional Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Cyber Security strategy and supporting the attractions, retention and expansion of Aerospace and Defense related businesses.
Prior to joining the Coalition, Mo was a Senior Program Manager at URS Corporation responsible for managing over $90 Million in government contracts, executing URS business development activities, and recruitment and employee retention in support of the federal government.
In addition, Mo served over 21 years in the Air Force as a logistics and acquisitions officer. He has had numerous positions throughout his career leading and managing Air Force Supply Chain and Logistics process and the Acquisition and Sustainment of Air Force weapon systems. Mo has a Bachelor of Science degree from the US Air Force Academy and a Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management from Georgia College and State University.
