Ross Aluminum to add jobs in Sidney

SIDNEY—A new owner will revitalize Ross Aluminum in Sidney, creating 175 jobs and investing $5.4 million in Ross’s Sidney operations.

SIDNEY—SEMCORP Advanced Materials Group announced Thursday it will establish a manufacturing facility in Sidney, Ohio, creating nearly 1,200 jobs with $73 million in annual payroll and $916 million in capital investment.

The facility will make separator film, a key component in batteries for electric vehicles (EVs). SEMCORP’s products will be used by leading EV battery makers across North America.

St. Marys — Loc Performance Products announced plans to expand their operational footprint and workforce at their manufacturing facility in St. Marys, Ohio. This expansion will involve creating 250 new jobs and retaining 450 current jobs in the next five years.


Headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan, Loc Performance Products designs, develops, and manufactures CNC-machined components and assemblies for drivetrain and suspension systems used in both military and commercial industries.

World Leader in Food Packaging to Open R&D Center, Establish U.S. Operations in Washington Court House

DAYTON--Plastilene announced plans to establish a research and development center in Washington Court House to focus on the development of recyclable food packaging that will help food producers reduce their carbon footprint and environmental impact.

RUSSIA— Cemleb Properties, LTD will begin development of a 12,000 square foot speculative expandable building in Russia, Ohio. This building will catalyze future development at Commerce Drive Industrial Park in the Village of Russia, Shelby County. This is the first development at the Industrial Park.
