Community Details

40. Community Need Clark County, and more specifically its Fairgrounds, has experienced a significant increase in events. The current buildings are outdated (built in approximately 1949). It is increasingly difficult to compete with other venues that have modern facilities. Total capacity at the three main buildings is approximately 39,286 sq ft. The fairgrounds is in need of a building with the capacity of approximately 100,000 sq ft in order to keep pace with the current events and to attract larger, more significant events. These events would bring much needed sales tax revenue to Clark County.
