Only 71% of kids graduate high school in the Dayton Public school system!
Worse than that is the school performance index for Northridge, Jefferson Township, Trotwood-Madison & Springfield.
Our STEM programming is exactly what these kids need, clearly traditional methods of teaching isn’t working for the kids in our region.
These students will be involved in teams designing / building drones and fighting robots.
We developed this model locally and we are ready to roll this out to all the underperforming schools in our region - at no cost to the school!

The students will work with mentors to learn problem solving skills, how to work together as a team, crises management, and most importantly be awakened to the opportunities in Advanced Manufacturing STEM careers!

Founded by industry professionals, we have proven this model over the past 10 years and are seeing success as these students are getting good paying careers with a future. We are also filling the much needed skilled worker pipeline for the Dayton Region. As thousands retire and new companies move to the region, we have a proven model that is ready to scale and be able to fill these jobs.

We know that our program works and that it solves two main issues in our region. One: it solves the workforce shortage. Two: it solves the problem as to what kids are going to do when they graduate from high school with no plan. We will give them the tools that they need to be prepared for successful careers.

I own a manufacturing company and not a professional grant writer, so if you need clarification just let me know.

Over the past 10 years we have demonstrated that roughly 60% of the students involved in our programs have gone on to some kind of advanced manufacturing / engineering / STEM careers. These students have come from all different backgrounds and have launched successful careers because of their involvement. With this grant we will be able to provide the schools with the funding and the guidance / manpower to have hundred of students participate each year. This will fill the top of the funnel for all the retirees leaving the workforce and all the new jobs coming to our region.
