Located adjacent to the National Aviation Heritage Museum and original Wright Bros Cycle shop sits a 6,000 square foot one story building where Dillin and Wright Dunbar Inc. is creating a Food Hall containing 7 food stations, coffee shop and bar to serve the surrounding neighborhood and destination foodies alike in a first phase investment.

39. Programs/grants for which this project would qualify We have already qualified for the West Dayton Fund from the City of Dayton. We would like to explore other opportunities this project would qualify for.

Community Details

40. Community Need This critically important food location facilitates the continued resurgence of new investment. The historic character of the surrounding community creates much interest from homeowners, and more recently, investors to this area located less than 5 minutes from downtown Dayton. This location is also a food desert so also adding more options for the community would be a positive impact for the area.

Our evaluation of success is determined if this project provides a positive sustainable businesses in the Wright Dunbar area as a staple for local based food operators and food options for the community in a food desert location. Our vision is that the community embraces this project as their own and supports the local businesses that creates the Food Hall.
