Gabriel Brother’s Chooses the Dayton Region for Its Largest Fulfilment Center Yet

Abstract: Gabriel Brother’s (Gabe’s) announced in October 2021 its plans to build its largest fulfilment center yet in Springfield, which will create over 800 jobs for the Dayton Region. Their Ohio footprint will give the company expanded logistics and distribution capabilities, to fulfill the growing demand for their product.

In October 2021, Gabe’s announced plans to construct a state-of-the-art distribution facility. This $77.5 million expansion will create more than 800 jobs in the Dayton Region. The 850,000 square foot distribution facility, that is expandable to 1.3 million square feet, will be located at Prime Ohio II Industrial Park in Springfield, Clark County. This project is the largest in Gabe’s history. The facility is expected to be fully operational in February 2023 and will be Gabe’s largest distribution center yet.

The increasing demand for Gabe’s products called for significant growth across their operations. When searching for a location for its new distribution center, Gabe’s wanted a state with a stable economy, business-friendly environment, skilled workforce, and collaborative partners ready to support their needs. As a result, Gabe’s chose Clark County. The community’s location and unmatched workforce aligns with Gabe’s vision for growth.

“Gabe’s is thrilled to join the incredible Springfield community,” said Jason Wolter, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Gabe’s. “It is our commitment to build a state-of-the-art facility and run a top-tier operation that will contribute positively on behalf of all Ohioans.”

The fast-growing Logistic and Distribution sector in Clark County make it the ideal location for Gabe’s new fulfillment center. This project will only strengthen the sector in Clark County and  State of Ohio.

“Ohio’s economic outlook is strong, and the fact that Gabe’s chose Ohio for its largest fulfillment center in the nation is a testament to substantial advantages of doing business here,” said Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine. “Ohio is proud to support this economic growth in Clark County through assistance from JobsOhio and the Ohio Department of Development, and we are looking forward to seeing this fulfillment center and its 800 new employees thrive.”
