JobsOhio Supports Two Local Businesses Through New Inclusion Grant Program

DAYTON— JobsOhio awarded Inclusion Grants totaling $125,000 to three Dayton Region small businesses in March. 

The JobsOhio Inclusion Grant provides financial support for eligible projects in designated distressed communities and for businesses owned by underrepresented populations across the state. The Dayton Development Coalition, JobsOhio’s network partner for the Dayton Region, supported the companies through the grant application process.

DAYTON— JobsOhio awarded Inclusion Grants totaling $60,000 to two Dayton Region small businesses in February. 

The JobsOhio Inclusion Grant provides financial support for eligible projects in designated distressed communities and for businesses owned by underrepresented populations across the state. The Dayton Development Coalition, JobsOhio’s network partner for the Dayton Region, supported the companies through the grant application process.

DAYTON—JobsOhio has assisted three Dayton Region small businesses with Inclusion Grants totaling $100,000.

The grants provide financial support for eligible projects in designated distressed communities and for businesses owned by underrepresented populations across the state. The Dayton Development Coalition, JobsOhio’s network partner for the Dayton Region, supported the companies through the grant application process.

Dayton Development Coalition Hosts First Virtual Annual Meeting To Share 2020 Results

In 2020, companies committed to create more than 1,994 new jobs in the Dayton Region, retain more than 8,203 jobs and invest more than $604.9 million in capital improvements, the Dayton Development Coalition announced Wednesday at its 2020 Annual Meeting. The numbers represent companies that worked with the DDC and JobsOhio to expand or establish new operations in the region.

Airstream Credits Strong Growth to Ohio's Talented Workers

In February 2018, Airstream announced plans for its largest-ever plant expansion. The $40 million project will almost triple production space from 430,000 square feet to 1.05 million square feet and create 300 new jobs. It will allow the company to consolidate multiple production spaces into one facility, bringing the assembly of its travel trailers under one roof. It also will make more room to produce its touring coaches and growing line of other recreational vehicle products.

Dayton Development Coalition Partners with JobsOhio to Distribute PPE Toolkits to Regional Small Businesses

The Dayton Development Coalition distributed PPE Safety Toolkits, donated by JobsOhio, to assist small businesses throughout the region. These PPE Safety Toolkits will provide small businesses in the Dayton Region PPE resources to stay protected and operate within the State’s safety guidelines during the phased reopening of Ohio. 

New Innovation Center Anchors Henny Penny’s Future Product Development

Henny Penny began construction on the largest expansion project in Henny Penny’s 62-year history in October for a 150,000 square-foot expansion to its Preble County manufacturing facility. The new space will add 70 jobs and house an Innovation Center for new product development, automation and innovation and expand the company’s manufacturing footprint.
