As air travel increases nationally, Wright Brothers Airport represents a tremendous regional asset to capture the increasing demand for private air services. The proposed upgrades will enable the airport to handle increased traffic, represent the City of Dayton appropriately, meet energy codes and ADA guidelines, and reduce energy and operational expenses. Modernizing the terminal will position Wright Brothers Airport to be attractive to the emerging Air-Taxi services market and other new business. Thus, developing it as a Gateway to the region that is truly representative of the legacy of innovation the Wright Brothers represent and of our region’s aviation history.
