K12 Gallery & TEJAS Acquisition, Community Teaching Studio
To purchase 344 S. Main Street/ rear building with an adjoining alley, to repurpose into a Community Teaching studio. While doing so, enhancing security to include an enclosure around the back side perimeter of the two buildings. Connecting this building to ours allows a win/win situation for Bonds Robotics, A First Robotics Competition team ( that rents a studio space in that area, they could expand their studio course to become more competitive. The acquisition & alley enclosure =safety too.

Community Details
K12/TEJAS won the Best in Art Education in 2022/ The Ohio Governor's Award because of our endless support to our creative community, at our artists center, and in neighboring schools as their art education department. The steadfast collaboration and mentoring of teens in 3 Montgomery County Juvenile Court facilities/ Schools, and a new partnership with Green County Juvenile Court spring and summer mural programs need us the most. The K12 Gallery, acquisition of the Community Teaching Studio further connects teens and adults to unlocking their own personal Positive Mental Health, through art making. The connected building to our current studio (which is crowded) allows for bigger and more significant projects for both K12 Gallery / TEJAS students and for our tenant, Bonds Robotic ( a First Robotic Competition) team to work in a bigger space.
