Short description Since the pandemic, many individuals with disabilities have not been able to access their communities or training opportunities that prepare them for competitive employment in the community. Resident Home Association of Greater Dayton is excited to expand its services in 2024 through our community partnerships to provide vocational training to individuals with disabilities. The requested funds would be for modified vehicles used to transport individuals to and from this programming.

Community Need The impact of these funds would allow up to 20 individuals with disabilities throughout the week to access vocational training opportunities while simultaneously integrating into their community. The impact to each of these individuals could be life changing, allowing them to learn skills that will assist them in gaining competitive employment.
