3. Short description This project will provide access to safe, permanent, affordable housing in a community setting for individuals in substance use disorder recovery. We will house at least 25 individuals who will have a recovery treatment plan with wraparound services while they reside in sober living homes. OneFifteen is already breaking ground on one house and, with the support of the Carillon Neighborhood, is revitalizing the area. These houses will provide paths from rent-based-housing to property ownership.

Community Details

40. Community Need Stable and affordable housing is one of the biggest barriers to sustained success in many people’s recovery journeys. Without housing many people are forced to resort to the same living situations and social contacts that they are trying to escape. The lack of positive prosocial activities and supportive peers exacerbates an already difficult journey, making relapse and recidivism more likely. We know that by providing both housing and support services, in collaboration with multiple partner agencies, we can provide a path to success with a stable living situation for the most underserved people in our community, with pathways to permanent employment and housing.
