40. Community Need The proposed water tower is needed to support water reliability and create redundancy within the Union Industrial Air Park. The City of Union has been proactive in their approach to improving infrastructure in the industrial park to address growth, support jobs and ensure continuous and efficient services for all in the area. These will aid in recruitment and assist in competing for companies to locate in the area. Infrastructure projects, such as this, strengthen developmental capabilities and economic positions of businesses in the region. This project is essential for the continued growth of job creation and overall economic development, and we strongly support the needed water tower that will benefit our region.
