Ohio UAS Center, Air Force Research Laboratory to Test Groundbreaking Aviation Technology

(SPRINGFIELD, Ohio) – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jon Husted, and Major General William Cooley, Commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, announced today that the Ohio Unmanned Aircraft Systems Center and AFRL will begin testing groundbreaking aviation technology at the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport.

Booz Allen Hamilton Is Planning to Expand in the Dayton Region Creating 60 Full-Time Positions

Booz Allen Hamilton announced plans to expand its Beavercreek office and build a new digital hub that will house its growing workforce and create 60 new jobs to the Dayton Region by 2021. The digital hub will include secure facilities and be part of Booz Allen’s Digital Solutions Network, which is comprised of digital strategists and technologists across the firm that research, design and collaborate to help solve complex challenges for business, government, and military clients. 

Crocs Will Relocate Its North American Distribution Operation From California to Dayton, Ohio

Crocs announced its plans to relocate their North American distribution operation from California to a site near the Dayton International Airport, which will create more than 130 jobs. Crocs will lease a NorthPoint Development building that covers 540,000 square feet. The new operation will give Crocs the ability to serve about 80 percent of its customers within the four days’ shipping service of the company’s “free economy shipping.”

Tyler Technologies Plans to Expand Its Corporate Office in Moraine, Ohio and Create 200+ New Jobs

On February 26, Tyler Technologies, Inc. announced its plans to expand in Moraine, Ohio. Tyler will build an additional 45,000 square feet of space.  
To accommodate growth, Tyler Technologies needed additional space for its appraisal and tax operations. The division’s expansion will allow for more than 200 additional hires. 

Looking Back at 2018

Crown Equipment Corporation’s Major Dayton Region Expansion Taking Shape

In October 2018, Crown Equipment Corporation announced plans for a new expansion. The $130 million expansion project will create 563 new jobs at multiple locations in the Dayton Region. Their expanded Ohio footprint will give the company additional assembly and manufacturing capacity, as well as expanded logistics capabilities, to fulfill the growing global demand for their product.
